Our Organization
SSC exists to bring people and experiences together. To that end, we attempt to make a safe, fun, educating experience at all of our events. This means we do have a code of conduct to follow. All members must follow these basic common decency community standards. By attending, you are agreeing to abide by them which you can find it here:
As for the group itself, there are two separate Meetup groups, partly because Meetup wouldn't allow us to combine the two, and partly because with 6000+ members, there's a lot to organize! If you have any questions, or want to know more about the two halves, then read below.
Sacramento Social Club (20's & 30's) - High Energy
You don't have to be 20's or 30's to join these events, but be prepared to act like you are! This is the smaller side, and these events are typically the more physically demanding: long hikes, late nights out, sports where you are supposed to play....
Sacramento Social Club - Laid Back Side
This is the larger side of the group. 4000+ members, on this board we usually put the casual walks along the river, nights out at happy hour, train trips, boating excursions and any low impact events that can handle a lot of people.
